CHINESE ROULETTE

In 'Chinese Roulette', Angela is crippled the daughter of two separated but still feuding parents. In this film 1976, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, the rich parents are both induced to come to their country house with their lovers in tow. For years they have tried, Angela feel guilty because they are driven to comfort outside their marriage, though ironically, there is some evidence that their dalliances may have had a hand in the accident that her condition. In this milieu uncomfortable, she plays a truth-game called 'Chinese Roulette', which leads to more revelations and recriminations tasteless....
