I love how mildly accurate some of this is. Men fitted with telephones. (cellphones) Girls wear more pants than skirts. (As is true for a good deal of women these days.)
If you've ever seen the silent film Metropolis, they have this one brief scene where they show a shot of girls (I believe in a garden of some sort...)(The movie is set in the future.) They are wearing these strange, fantastical reworkings of rococo, Marie Antoinette-esqe dresses. Sometimes I wished the future of fashion had turned that way...
